When Walmart came to Gerber looking for a way to boost sales with Gen Z parents, we created a series of “flavor kits” for new moms to try with their baby.

From messy mealtime into pic-worthy playtime, welcome to the Flavor Journey, a taste-as-you-go table top adventure that doubles as a placemat.

Each “stop” gives the baby their first experience with a flavor or texture.

A “Flavor Log” inside gave the parent a space to track their child’s reaction.

By the end of the journey, a parent will know which tastes their child enjoys.

After becoming available as a Walmart-exclusive, the Gerber “Flavor Journey” sold out, introducing thousands of new moms to both Gerber and Walmart.
